Tucked away in North Rocks, Infinity Gym Sports & Health has quietly grown from a small local club into one of New South Wales' leading gymnastics programs - all while keeping inclusion, community, and kids' confidence at the heart of everything they do.
With a strong focus on both high performance and participation for all abilities, Infinity is now welcoming new families for Term 2 enrolments, with new class times just opened and free trial classes available.
Award-Winning Gymnastics, Close to Home
In just a few short years, Infinity has gone from a brand-new club to a recognised state leader. Their recent achievements speak for themselves:
• 2025 Gymnastics NSW Small Club of the Year
• 2025 Gymnastics NSW WAG State Club Champions (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics)
• 2025 Gymnastics NSW Junior International Athlete of the Year - Emma Dinca
Infinity has also been proudly nominated for:
• 2025 Club Excellence in Inclusion
• 2025 WAG Intermediate Levels Athlete of the Year - Ella Simmons
• 2025 WAG Coaching Team of the Year
For local families, this means your child can access a truly high-quality gymnastics experience in a supportive, community-focused environment - without travelling across town.
From a Small Start to a Strong Community
Infinity first opened its doors in 2017 with a simple goal: to create a club where children of all ages and abilities could discover a love of movement, grow in confidence, and be supported to reach their full potential.
The journey hasn't always been easy. In 2024, the club had to move facilities, a major challenge for any small business. But the move to their new home in North Rocks has only strengthened the community. Families followed, new members joined, and the club has continued to grow - both in size and in success.
Today, Infinity is recognised across the state not only for its results, but for its culture: a place where kids are encouraged, coaches know your child by name, and every achievement - big or small - is celebrated.
Programs for Every Child: Recreational to International
Infinity offers a complete pathway for gymnasts, from first cartwheel to international competition.
Programs include:
•
Recreational Gymnastics - Fun, skill-building classes ideal for beginners and active kids who love to jump, roll, and tumble. A great foundation for all sports.
•
Competitive Pathways - Structured training for children who are ready for the next step, with levels to suit different ages, goals, and abilities.
•
High Performance & International Level - For dedicated athletes pursuing state, national, and international competition.
Parents can feel confident that their child is in expert hands. The club's Director, Catherine Howitt, is an FIG Coach & Judge, and one of only a small number of International-level judges in NSW. The coaching team is led by Head Coach Ma Jun, who brings an exceptional level of experience and leadership to the club, having been the long-term personal coach to 3 of the 5 athletes on the Australian Olympic Team in 2024.
This depth of experience means that every child, whether they’re just starting out or dreaming big, has access to world-class coaching and clear pathways to progress.
A Club Built on Inclusion and Support
While Infinity is proud of its high-level success, the club is equally passionate about being inclusive and welcoming.
Their nomination for Gymnastics NSW Club Excellence in Inclusion reflects a long-standing commitment to:
• Creating a supportive environment for all abilities
• Offering programs that nurture confidence, resilience, and self-belief
• Ensuring every child feels they belong - whether they're trying gymnastics for the first time or training many hours a week.
Parents often comment on the positive, encouraging atmosphere in the gym: kids cheering each other on, coaches celebrating effort as much as results, and a strong sense of community among families.
Athlete Spotlight: Emma Dinca
One of Infinity's brightest success stories is Emma Dinca, recently named 2025 Gymnastics NSW Junior International Athlete of the Year.
Emma's journey is especially meaningful to the club and its community:
• She has been with Infinity since the very beginning, when the club first opened in 2017.
• Her story reflects the club's values of dedication, consistency, and loyalty.
• She has grown from a young beginner into a Junior International athlete, supported every step of the way by her coaches and teammates.
Emma's achievements show what’s possible when talent meets a nurturing environment - and they serve as an inspiration to younger gymnasts training beside her each week.
More Than Sport: Positive Youth Development
At its heart, Infinity is about more than gymnastics.
Through structured programs, caring coaches, and a strong focus on personal growth, children learn:
• Confidence and self-belief
• Discipline and goal-setting
• Teamwork, friendship, and resilience
Infinity's contribution to local sport goes beyond competition results. The club plays an active role in:
• Providing safe, healthy after-school and weekend activities
• Encouraging kids to be active, social, and engaged
• Building connections between families in the wider community
For many families, Infinity becomes a second home - a place where their children feel seen, supported, and challenged in all the right ways.
